How the APH ConnectCenter Can Help You During the COVID-19 Crisis

The spread of COVID-19 has turned much of our lives upside-down. We’ve learned, a diagnosis of blindness, or visual impairment, doesn’t exempt you from social distancing or sheltering in place. Sometimes, we have issues that require an immediate solution. Are you rapidly losing sight and do not know where to turn for advice? Are the local services for the blind in your area shuttered for in-person services due to COVID-19? Perhaps you have found yourself in a situation as a visually impaired or blind person that feels like crisis. We have been ordered to socially distance ourselves after all, and depending on your living situation, this may mean you are navigating these waters completely on your own.

Our Information and Referral Specialists are still available to assist you with most questions you may have. You can reach us by calling (800) 232-5463 Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 8 PM ET. It doesn’t matter if your question is pertaining to a product or device that can help you, a technique that that would assist you in performing a task, you have a blind child and you’re looking for educational or recreational exercises, or maybe you just need someone who can relate first hand to your struggles.
