Participants are given free comprehensive eye exams and glasses and referrals when necessary. ABVI promotes a healthy and active lifestyle. Many of our clients are blind from diabetes or have developed diabetes due to lifestyle changes resulting from their blindness. We offer yoga classes, various fitness classes and nutrition talks to encourage our clients to stay active and to maintain a healthy diet. All of the classes are taught with the goal of teaching the clients healthy habits they can easily keep up with in their own environments.
