Brief Description

Atlanta Braille Volunteers, formed in November 1968, is a chartered non-profit 501c3 organization in the State of Georgia. We are co-sponsors and scorers/judges of the annual Braille Challenge, an event held in January of each year at the Georgia Academy for the Blind in Macon, Georgia.

Services Offered

  • Braille/Electronic/Audio/Large Print Production
    • Our services include transcribing and embossing. Our main focus is to transcribe textbooks for blind students attending classes with sighted peers on the elementary and secondary education levels. We transcribe books, newsletters, manuals, recipes, legal documents, music, personal documents, and financial statements.
