Brief Description

Sight Savers America, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, provides free vision care to children of qualified families. The vision care provided are eye exams, transportation if needed, eye surgery or treatment, prescription glasses. We also have a Low Vision department that provides free Low Vision exams and recommended Vision Technology placed in the home of children up to 19 years old. Child and parent are trained how to use recommended technology. All Low Vision patients are followed up every six months to assure the vision aids are working properly and patients low vision needs are being met.
