Lenore Dillon standing outside, white cane in hand Lenore Dillon has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of Vision Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT). Her experiences include both direct service provision (itinerant and center-based), administration of vision rehabilitation therapy programs and serving as an instructor at a university preparation program. She earned her bachelor’s degree in vision rehabilitation therapy from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, and her master’s degree in rehabilitation administration from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Lenore served as a vision rehabilitation therapist in Lafayette, IN, and as a center-based VRT at Bosma Rehabilitation Center in Indianapolis. She then spent 14 years as the Director of Indiana’s Itinerant Vision Rehabilitation Therapy Program. She also served as a faculty instructor, working with students that were earning a master’s degree in rehabilitation teaching/vision rehabilitation therapy at Northern Illinois University. She spent two and a half years as an associate professor at Korea Nazarene University in Chonan City, South Korea (2002-2005). She also spent several years serving as an itinerant vision rehabilitation therapist in both Mobile, AL, and Gadsden, AL and, before her retirement, was the Coordinator of Vision Rehabilitation Therapists and Orientation and Mobility Specialists for Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services.
