Brief Description

Together with the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, administers grants and contributions program to help fund services and integration efforts for persons who are blind and visually impaired and other persons with disabilities.

Services Offered

  • Information and Referral
    • Provides policy direction, funding, and operational standards to the four Regional Health Authorities who deliver programs and services to individuals with disabilities and their families. Offers information on the programs and services funded by the Department of Health and Community Services and provide information on those that are available from other government departments or agencies.
