Services Offered

• Recreation Services
• Operates Camp Dogwood, specifically for blind and visually impaired adults, with a few separate sessions for youth programs. Offers twelve 6-day sessions per summer.


• Health
• Supports the North Carolina Lions Clinical Research Division at Wake Forest University and the North Carolina Lions Pediatric Eye Clinic at Duke University Eye Center. Also supports the North Carolina Eye and Human Tissue Bank.


• Assistive Products
• Provides canes, free of charge, to any blind or visually impaired individual in North Carolina upon their request.
