Brief Description

Help Me Grow is Ohi?s birth to 3 system that provides state and federal funds to county Family and Children First Councils to be used in conjunction with state, local and other federal fund to implement and maintain a coordinated, community-based infrastructure that promotes transdisciplinary, family-centered services for expectant parents, newborns, infants and toddlers and their families.

The Ohio Department of Health, Bureau of Early Intervention Services is the lead agency administering the Help Me Grow program in Ohio. The Bureau ensures that services to Part C eligible infants and toddlers are provided in accordance with federal Part C guidelines; families have access to the services which are needed to enhance their health and child's development; and training is available to ensure that professionals who work with children and families have up-to-date information.
