Brief Description

MindsEye is a radio reading service providing 24 hour per day broadcasts readings of newspapers, magazines, books and retail store ads for people who are blind or print disabled in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.

MindsEye also provides service to 80 local nursing homes, hospitals and retirement centers serving an additional 10,000 residents.

Services Offered

  • Reading Services
    • Broadcasts various special interest announcements and selections from newspapers (St. Louis Post Dispatch, Belleville News Democrat, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Christian Science Monitor) and many magazines like People and Time. Also reads from local grocery and retail store ads. Other programs feature information on areas such as pets, cooking, sports, blindness and disability. Over 130 hours of unique programming every week. Service available by loaned radio and on website, www.mindseyeradio.org. MindsEye is also available on the iBlink, TuneIn and ooTunes apps for iOS and Android, on the Victor Reader Stream, on Apple Radio on your desktop or Apple TV, on several Smart TVs and Internet Radios, over the phone, and more.
