Brief Description

The Program for the Blind and Disabled provides materials found in public libraries in formats that are accessible to the blind and disabled. Books and magazines are available in braille, in large print, and audio format.

Services Offered

  • Library Services
    • Provides audio books and play back machines, large-print books, and braille for blind, visually impaired and physically disabled persons. Provides full library service to readers in Alaska, Utah, and Wyoming, and serves braille readers in Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
