Brief Description

The Kentucky Council of the Blind has been building better tomorrows for blind and visually impaired Kentuckians since 1965. With chapters and members throughout the state, KCB helps blind, visually impaired and sighted people work together to improve education, training, career, and leisure opportunities for people with low vision. Through advocacy, information and referral, and peer support, KCB helps visually impaired children and adults and their families find the knowledge and resources they need to achieve their goals.
