  • Low Vision Services
    • Evaluates patients with diagnoses of age related macular degeneration (ARMD), Stargardt's Disease, macular holes, drug induced toxicity reactions, uveitis, retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and high myopia. Designs low vision devices for reading, distance, occupational and recreational tasks and low vision glasses for driving and computer use and prescribes electronic magnification devices for reading. Refers patients as necessary to low vision occupational therapy and to appropriate state agencies and organizations to maximize their function.
